In June 2014, Toitu curator Sean Brosnahan embarked on a journey to follow in the footsteps of the Otago Infantry Battalion and Otago Mounted Rifles during World War One.
The subsequent documentary, entitled Journey of the Otagos, is the first film to ever be made on solely on the Otagos participation in the Great War. The 11 documentary episodes can currently be viewed in the Dunedin’s Great War exhibition at Toitu and here on this page.
